Judy Maciejowska
Judy Maciejowska has lived in Twickenham for thirty years with her husband and two children. She has been in the Green Party for over 16 years and has played a significant role both nationally and locally. She has been a co-chair of the National Party and convened the International section of the Green Party of England and Wales.
She has a Masters degree in European politics and has worked closely with colleagues in the European Union. She is concerned with the rising apathy towards politics and politicians in the United Kingdom and is working on policies that will engage with voters.
Judy has lots of political experience. She was involved in General Elections, in 1992 and 2001. She was involved in local elections, in 1986 in Richmond, in 1990 in Hounslow, and in 2002 in Richmond. She was also involved in the 2000 London Assembly elections, for South West London. Judy was a member of a five person core campaign team in the 1989 European Election, and is excited to be standing as a candidate in 2004.
Judy will be campaigning on institutions of government, electoral reform, political parties, and voter participation.
