Chloƫ Somers
Chloë believes that the Green Party offers the only positive solution to issues such as climate change. She is interested in how working together for a sustainable future affects other areas, such as the arts and education.
Chloë has studied and worked in Germany and retains strong links with the areas where she lived. She has recently been Regional Press Officer for the South West.
Affordable public transport for all
Chloë is a member of Bath and North East Somerset Green Party. She has campaigned for an affordable and efficient train service. She recently took part in a fare strike to highlight the high prices and severe overcrowding that First Great Western passengers suffer.
Chloë supported the campaign to stop the Bath-Bristol cycle route being turned into a bus lane. She backs her local party's vision for sustainable public transport in Bath. She has lived in Norwich and campaigned for the Green Party there, which has gained 13 seats on the local council and is now the official opposition party.
She has also taken part in events such as a cross-party panel debating the topic 'women in politics'.
