What is Campaign School?
Campaign School is the Green Party’s ground-breaking campaign training programme, leading the Party to local election wins across England and Wales.
Across the three Campaign Schools now in the past 3 years, results are being seen across the country. Around 80% of local parties with a Campaign School graduate have gone on to win seats.
Campaign School is recognised as the most effective training the Green Party has ever run. If you are managing a campaign to win in May 2020 or later, Campaign School 4 is for you.
Who can apply?
The programme welcomes Green Party members from a wide range of backgrounds and life experience. Campaign School will help participants apply their existing skills and gain new ones so that no matter what, all graduates will finish the programme ready to elect Greens locally.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 on Wednesday 3rd July 2019. We will inform successful applicants of their place the following week.
When is it?
Following the success of the first three Schools, and high demand, applications are now open to find our fourth cohort which will begin on 30th August 2019.
The Campaign School programme will begin with an intensive four-day training residential from 30th August to 2nd September (inclusive) in Leicester. This is followed by 12 months of ongoing coaching, training and practical application, with trainees completing the Green Party Accredited Campaign Qualification after running their own campaign.
How much does it cost?
The 25 places on Campaign School are heavily subsidised by the Green Party but we ask for a £50 contribution from each participant and £50 from your local party. A bursary fund is available for participants who need assistance as we don’t wish finance to be a barrier for anyone to attend. During the residential, all of your accommodation and meals are included.
