Travelodge Newport is located by the train station and rooms were available from £38 Friday/£80 Saturday night over the conference period. Handy for the public bus service to the venue. It is a 30 minute bus journey to the venue, or a 20 minute bike ride.
Newport Student Village accommodation in the centre of Newport is bookable all year round, Double en-suite rooms with shared kitchens around £40, or book an appartment for 5 if you are in a group. It is a 30 minute bus journey to the venue, or a 20 minute bike ride.

It is also worth considering accommodation in Bristol or Cardiff if you don't mind a short train journey to reach the venue.
