Volunteer for the National Party
Voluntary help is needed at all levels of the party, but especially in our regional and local parties. People volunteer with the party for all types of reasons - they may want to update their skills, be active, or improve their job prospects. There is no typical volunteer but it helps if you have a passion for Green politics, share our core values and can work effectively as part of a team.
We rely on our members to shape our policies, fight our campaigns and help to run and win elections where we can make a difference for the common good.
"As a volunteer, you can make new friends and meet like minded people. You will develop new skills and gain valuable work experience." - Sophie, London
"It's interesting to see the internal clock-work of a political/campaigning organisation and to have satisfaction that I'm part of that machine furthering the Green cause." - David, Kent
However, you don’t need to be a member of the Green Party to help out and even if you can only give a few hours every so often or can commit some time every week we would like to hear from you.
Volunteering for National Office
At this time we do not offer internship or apprenticeship placements due to the size of National Office, however if you are interested in volunteering your time to provide support to the membership team, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and include a short overview (no longer than half a page) of your skills, availability and interest in volunteering with the Green Party. We will endeavour to respond to all applicants within a reasonable time frame.
We would also strongly encourage you to contact their your local party for volunteering opportunities. You can find out which is your local party here.
