Fundraising & Development Manager
The Green Party is on a mission to get great Greens elected in 2024 and the Development team play a central role in building a movement of Green members, supporters and voters, to build our reach and impact as a leading political party in England and Wales.
To achieve this mission, the Development Team are looking for a Development & Fundraising Manager to streamline and diversify the party’s fundraising activity, while also creating content that helps the party reach and engage audiences beyond their current base.
Working closely with the Head of Development and wider Development Team, this role will be responsible for The Green Party’s fundraising portfolio. They will optimise existing and develop new long term fundraising activity. With a focus on developing sustainable income opportunities, this role will manage (high value) donor engagement, produce engaging events and deliver impactful marcomms taking ownership of donor communications to grow our income and audiences. This role will also network, building affiliate relationships outside of the party to engage, recruit and convert.
Salary: £35,062 - £37,208 per annum (points 25 - 28 on the GPEW Pay Scale)
Hours: Up to 35 hours per week; work pattern to be agreed in consultation with successful applicant

The purpose of the role is to provide flexible, cross functional communications support to the staff team and the Party more generally (including volunteers and the Leadership) This will be a very varied job with no two-days the same. The post holder will proactively contribute to editorial discussions, use their initiative to make sure things get done and work on a number of different projects at any one time. The role requires fast paced working with the ability to be reactive but also to plan ahead, balancing requirements along the way. The successful applicant will be an excellent relationship builder, diplomatic and hardworking, someone who will be proud of their contribution to a small but high functioning team and whose enthusiasm for their work is underpinned by the knowledge that the Green Party is going places.
Salary: £24,068 - £25,040 per annum, pro rata (points 6 - 8 on the GPEW Pay Scale)

Field Organiser - London
The Green Party’s team of Field Organisers support local Green Parties to organise and win election campaigns.
Following a record result in the elections for London Mayor and Assembly, and ahead of a large set of local elections in 2022, you will be joining London’s staff team at a crucial time. As one of two Field Organisers for London, your focus will be on harnessing this momentum and dramatically increasing the number of elected Councillors for London. We are therefore seeking a motivational organiser who is driven to seize this opportunity.
As a London Field Organiser, you will play a vital role in training, coaching and advising our local parties in the crucial work they do to build their volunteer base and win elections. You will be a natural relationship builder, assisting local party campaign managers to the point that they will be keen to come to you for advice and assistance to organise and recruit activists, and for strategic advice on their election campaigns. You will be strongly motivated by supporting other people to achieve their goals. You will have had some experience of election campaigns already and be able to communicate with others in a compelling way.
Field Organisers are part of a high performing team within the Green Party that is having a transformational impact on the work of our local parties and in turn helping to bring Green policies into practice in our communities.
Salary: £24,068 to £29,925 FTE [points 6-17 on the Green Party salary scale]
Hours: 35 hours per week. Some work will be outside of core hours (09:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday) according to the needs of volunteers. This may include a Saturday and/or Sunday once a month on average.
