Climate Change Campaigns Officer

Salary: £23,690 - £26,680 pro rata (points 9-15 on the GPEW national pay scales)

Hours: 21 hours per week initially possibly rising with additional funding

Location: It is anticipated that the post will be based on average two days a week in the Green Party Office, London, and one day a week at the House of Commons

The principal purpose of the Climate Change Campaigns Officer role is help develop, maintain and grow the Partys campaigning on issues related to climate change at national and local levels. The post-holder will help put together campaigns including the development of strategy and tactics for both online and offline campaigning. They will have responsibility for the development of frameworks for selecting and evaluating campaigns including developing measures of success and channels for receiving and responding to feedback on campaigns.

Digital Officer

The Green Party is recruiting a Digital Officer to fill an important role supporting the organisations digital platforms. 

The Digital Officer will play a key role within the Digital team by ensuring content across all online platforms is kept up-to-date, being the primary point of contact for technical queries for staff and volunteers, maintaining user access to our systems and carrying out Digital Project work to maximise the potential of our platforms.

Our systems are built on opensource systems including Drupal, CiviCRM and ModX and consist of over 300 websites across the party. 

The chosen candidate will be adept in using a Content Management System and possess good working knowledge of HTML and CSS.  They will be an excellent communicator, highly organised, a good trouble-shooter with a natural ability to dissect complex problems, and be eager to learn and develop new skills.

Salary: £22,325 (point 6 on GPEW national pay scale)

Hours: 35 hours per week (with a degree of flexibility for the right candidate)

Location: Green Party Office, London

Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive/Governance Administrator - CLOSED TO NEW APPLICATIONS CURRENTLY SHORTLISTING

The Green Party is looking for a highly organised self-starter for the combined role of Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Governance Administrator. The core purpose of this role is to provide executive-level support to the Chief Executive and Governance committees of the Party.  The role will involve providing direct assistance to the Chief Executive in delivering a wide range of projects in the Party’s organisational plan for 2017/18.

Salary:              £28,565 - £31,538 (points 18-23 on the GPEW national pay scale)

Hours:              35 hours per week (with some evening and weekend work expected for committee meetings)

Contract:          Permanent

Location:          Green Party National Office, London

Line Manager:  Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Reporting to:    CEO;GPEx Chair; GPRC Co-Chairs

Opportunities in Local/Regional Party's

Telephone Campaign Fundraiser

The North East Green Party is delivering a telephone fundraising campaign across this region and is looking for self motivated individuals to work shifts total 31 hours.  the role will involve talking to party members about the achievements and aspirations of the North East Party and persuading them to make a financial contribution.  Training will be provided.

Salary: £9.37 per hour + Holiday increment

Hours: Total of 31 hours across the evenings and weekends of a two week period starting Monday 31st July to Sunday 13th August

Contract: Temporary (see above dates).  You will work on a self employed basis submitting an invoice for your payment at the end of the contract period.
