Chief Executive Officer

The Green Party of England & Wales (GPEW) is looking for a Chief Executive to take on the effective and efficient organisational leadership of GPEW during a time of political upheaval, driving its strategic direction and radical political vision for a life based on environmental sustainability, democracy and social justice. With our total number of elected representatives steadily growing and our political influence over the past ten years increasing significantly. it is an exciting time to take on the opportunity to guide the Green movement.

Salary: £66,863 – £75,298 (points 60-66 on the GPEW salary scale)

Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Green Party National Office - London

Opportunities in Westminster

Parliamentary media officer

Salary: £31,505 FT

Hours: 37.5

Job type: Permanent contract

Location: House of Commons with occasional time in Brighton and in the Green Party HQ in Bermondsey

Closing date: Noon Friday April 12th 2019

Caroline Lucas it the Green Party of England and Wales’ first MP. She has a track record of making history and an ongoing commitment to speaking out and shifting the political narrative. She is currently looking to recruit an exceptional parliamentary press officer to be part of a small, proactive, highly dedicated and strategic team. Your role will be to maintain and improve her media and social media profile, nationally and locally.

The successful candidate will thrive in fast paced environments, be flexible, quick thinking, decisive and have good political antennae. You will write like a dream, manage competing priorities calmly, have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and be motivated by environmental and social justice.

The role requires working closely with the Green Party’s small media team and senior elected figures in a fast-paced, political environment to help deliver our key messages across a range of media.
