BNP Leader in Syria at request of War Criminal Assad – Get Griffin Out in May 2014

11 June 2013

NORTH West MEP and BNP Leader Nick Griffin has flown to Syria at the request of the Assad regime provoking outrage from people around the country.

Gina Dowding, Green County Councillor in Lancashire commented:

“This is appalling. We have someone elected to represent people in our region travelling to meet a regime that is believed to be using chemical weapons, who have suppressed democracy and committed atrocities against their own people.”

“Exactly four years ago we learned that Nick Griffin was going to represent the North West region. He beat Peter Cranie, the Green candidate, by just 0.3% - less than 5,000 votes out of millions of electors [1]. Instead of an MEP who would be working for an ethical foreign policy, we got someone representing a party which is racist, homophobic and now friend to the tyrants.”

“In less than a year, the North West will vote again.. It’s time to make a change and a Green vote this time will once again be the best progressive option to beat the BNP and Get Griffin Out.”
