Our responsibility to our members

The Green Party take bullying, harassment and sexual harassment very seriously. We recognise that we have a responsibility to have policies and practices that protect people as effectively as possible.

In November 2017 we began a review of our current policies and procedures, involving an independent barrister and human resources agency. This is due to report by the end of the year and will, if necessary, include recommendations for how our internal processes could be improved. One of the questions the review is seeking to address is the independence of our processes and whether the current system of drawing on independent experts needs to be embedded more fully.
